Our History

On September 1, 1984, Constable Robin Easey was shot in the head while responding to an armed robbery at the Bayshore Shopping Center in Ottawa.  This event ultimately lead to a professional partnering of Glennis Easey, Dr. Turgeon and the now retired, Sgt. Robin Easey.

Collectively, they founded The Wings of Phoenix Association and formed a governing Board of Directors to raise funds for individuals in need of treatment, who otherwise, would be unable to pay for much needed treatment following an injury to the brain.
